This is a clutch/mechanical pencil, where pressing the button would cause the lead to slide out freely. It can be considered as another type of mechanical pencil, and it is a bit hefty in comparison to most other pencils.
This specific model comes with a quick sharpener in the endcap, however we recommend that you use a specialised 4.0 mm lead sharpener or a sandpaper block instead if you want a finer point.
